Specifications

Flying Changes is a monthly, black & white publication. Camera-ready ads will be accepted on film or electronically, only. (Laser and inkjet print-outs will not be accepted.) Photos should be prepared using an 85-line screen (maximum).

We provide complete ad design and layout services at very affordable prices. Just let us know what you have in mind and we'll work with you on your ad.

Ads submitted on disk: will be accepted for publication as Adobe PageMaker 6.5, Quark Express 4.0, Adobe Illustrator 8.0, PDF, or EPS files only. Ensure required fonts and/or graphics are included. Scanned images should be formatted at 150 pixels/inch, GIF or TIFF only, grayscale or RGB. Please submit a paper copy of your ad with the disk for proofing.

Display ads submitted via e-mail: will be accepted for publication as Adobe PageMaker 6.5, Quark Express 4.0, Adobe Illustrator 8.0, PDF, or EPS files only. Advertising Deadlines

To guarantee placement, make your ad reservation by 5:00 p.m. PST on the 7th of the month preceding the issue cover date (for example, by March 7th for the April issue). A 50%, non-refundable deposit is due upon reservation. When space allows, we will accept later reservations. Camera-ready ads for which space has been reserved must be received by the 13th of the month, in the month prior to the issue cover date. Please note that the December issue is our annual stallion issue and September is our annual foal issue.

Directory Listing - $89 per year (12 issues in magazine and on this Website). Add $30 for a direct link to your Website and/or e-mail from your Flying Changes Website listing.

Text Classified Ad - 53¢ per word (1 issue and 1 month on this Website). Add $11 for a direct link from your web advertisement to your e-mail address.

Deadline: By 5:00 p.m. PST on the 7th of the month for the following month's issue (for example, by March 7th for the April issue). Please specify the month(s) to appear & the category. Ads also appear on this Website.

Photo Classified Ad - $53 for photo & up to 40 words. Add $11 for a link to your e-mail address.Include a SASE envelope if you would like us to return your photo. We will accept original photographs or high quailty color photocopies. Do not fold the original photograph or the photocopy. Please credit the photographer when sending copies.

Photo classified photos submitted via e-mail: E-photos should be scanned at 150 pixels/inch, sized to no larger than 4" wide (to minimize file download and upload times, and saved in GIF, TIFF, or JPEG color files). Do not embed your photo in your e-mail or in a doucment attached to your e-mail. Send the photo as an attachment to your classified text.
