DWF Seeks Reader Contributions

Join me, Flying Changes editor, in an undercover journey into the world of online equestrian dating. Together, we’ll report back on the real-life thrills, challenges, and humor of the experience. You know there’s a story there and you can help to tell it.

We’re looking for horsemen and women of all ages* interested in posting profiles online and keeping journals of their experiences. No actual dating is required but if you do meet someone face to face, we’d love to hear about it. Was it love at first sight? A case of misrepresentation? Fun? Or folly?

In exchange for your honest representation of the experience, we’ll foot the bill for a three-month membership with an online equestrian dating service of your choosing—or you can do a comparative study by posting free profiles on several sites. When you turn in your journal notes, you’ll receive an autographed copy of Bob Goddard’s new book, Horse Crazy (as advertised in Flying Changes magazine—Oprah hasn’t read it yet but she should. )

Flying Changes Magazine, Inc. assumes no responsibility for broken hearts or children conceived via online dating; likewise, we won’t ask to be included in your prenup but would appreciate an invite to the wedding.

If you’ve done some online dating via an equestrian singles website, we’d love to hear from you, as well.

For more information, send an e-mail to lauren@flyingchanges.com.

*Most websites have a minimum age limit of 18. If you’re younger than that, go do your homework.
