**Typesetting, design and layout for ads created for publication in Flying Changes magazine are offered by the publisher at a substantial discount.

Specifications

Flying Changes is a monthly, black & white publication. Camera-ready ads will be accepted electronically or on disk, only, formatted at 300 pixels/inch. (Laser and inkjet print-outs will not be accepted.)

We provide complete ad design and layout services at very affordable prices. Just let us know what you have in mind and we'll work with you on your ad.

Ads submitted on disk or via e-mail: will be accepted for publication as Adobe InDesign 2.0.1, Adobe InDesign CS, Adobe InDesign CS3 & CS5, hi resolution PDF, or EPS files only. Ensure required fonts and/or graphics are included. Photos should be formatted at 150 pixels/inch, GIF or TIFF only, grayscale or RGB. Please submit or fax a paper proof of your electronic copy.

Advertising Deadlines

To guarantee placement, make your ad reservation by 5:00 p.m. PST on the 7th of the month preceding the issue cover date (for example, by July 7th for the August issue). Ads for which space has been reserved must be received by the 10th of the month, in the month prior to the issue cover date. Payment in full is expected for ads cancelled after the advertising deadline, unless a same-size replacement ad can be substituted from the Wait List. Wen space allows, we will accept later reservations.

Please note that the December issue is our annual Stallion & Gift Issue and September is our annual Foal Issue.

$136 per year (12 issues in magazine and on this Website). Add $40 for a direct link to your Website or e-mail (please specify) from your Flying Changes Website listing.

Classified Ad Rates

Text Classified Ad - 58¢ per word (1 issue and 1 month on this Website). Add $12 for a direct link from your web advertisement to your e-mail address or Website.

Deadline: By 5:00 p.m. PST on the 7th of the month for the following month's issue (for example, by July 7th for the August issue). Please specify the month(s) to appear & the category. Ads also appear on this Website.

Submit your classified text/photo by e-mail. Be sure to note which issue you would like your ad to run in, and how many months it should run. Send your check via snail mail; your check must be received before we can publish the ad. Please reference the classified ad on your check so we can match them. Please include your mailing address in your e-mail.

Payment: A check payable to “Flying Changes” must accompany your ad.

Photo Classified Ad - $58 for photo & up to 40 words. Add $12 for a link to your e-mail address or Website. Include a SASE envelope if you would like us to return your photo. We will accept original photographs or high quailty color photocopies. Do not fold the original photograph or the photocopy. Please credit the photographer when sending copies.

Photo classified photos submitted via e-mail: E-photos should be scanned at 150 pixels/inch, sized to no larger than 4" wide (to minimize file download and upload times, and saved in GIF, TIFF, or JPEG color files). Do not embed your photo in your e-mail or in a doucment attached to your e-mail. Send the photo as an attachment to your classified text.
