CHARITY OF THE MONTH: Save a Forgotten Equine

Did you know that each month we feature an organization or cause that could use support, applause, donations, or… all of the above?

This month we featured SAFE: Save a Forgotten Equine, an organization that takes in horses facing abuse or neglect and rehabilitates them so they are ready for their forever homes. Located in Redmond, WA, SAFE’s mission is: to rescue, rehabilitate, and retrain horses facing neglect or abuse and provide them with the best opportunity for a permanent home and a lifetime of safety

SAFE is deeply committed to its rescued horses. With extensive experience in equine rehabilitation they bring neglected horses back from the brink of starvation. All horses are provided with routine veterinary, dental, and hoof care. Once a horse has been successfully rehabilitated, they evaluate for strengths and suitabilities, and provide many rescued horses with professional training to help ensure them a safe and productive future.
