New to Flying Changes: The Bainbridge Island Saddle Club

Flying Changes Magazine is thrilled to announce the addition of the Bainbridge Island Saddle Club to its Club News section of the magazine. The Bainbridge Island Saddle Club is an equestrian community facility located on Bainbridge Island, WA, originating in 1948 before establishing its permanent location in1969. BISC is a non-profit membership organization whose purpose is to promote good horsemanship and foster amateur equestrian sports in the Bainbridge Island community and surrounding areas.

Their membership term extends from March to March of each year, providing a host of educational activities such as schooling shows and clinics for children and adults, as well as special member-only events like equestrian gaming, demonstrations, and other fun gatherings for the BISC community. Some of the special events on their calendar this year include a Mounted Archery Clinic and an Introduction to Equestrian Obstacle Sports, to name a few.

From April to October the BISC hosts hunter-jumper and dressage schooling shows at their large, member’s outdoor riding facility, which serves as a wonderful facility for shows and also offers direct access to trails and cross country jumps in the adjacent Manzanita Equestrian Park.

This fantastic club provides a fun and supportive environment for all riders to learn and gain experience with their horses in financially accessible competitions. Flying Changes is so pleased to have the opportunity to share their news, events, and show results in the Club News section of our magazine each issue.
